That room became Harry’s room. and it was surely big enough. His parents, nanny, grandparents, or whoever hosted them assigned these rooms.
Sometimes they might have had to share, but when they had their own rooms, of course, William would get the bigger one. He was the older brother and had been there before, so he kept the same bedroom every time they visited. I believe William’s room was probably bigger than Harry’s, and that’s normal. In my family, the oldest one always got the bigger bedroom, but it wasn’t about mistreating the others. They didn’t ask the boys for their opinions because that could lead to fights. The rooms were chosen by an adult. Whether it was the parents or the hosts, it doesn’t really matter. The same thing happens when adults stay somewhere as guests. You don’t just show up and demand a specific room. I don’t care if you gave me this room.
